Overview The sixth edition of NATIONAL Public Relations’ Tremblant Forum on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Westin Resort & Spa in Mont Tremblant, Quebec. The Tremblant Forum has become one of Canada’s most important venues for the exchange of ideas on some of the biggest challenges and opportunities faced by companies, governments, and members of civil society. The theme for this year’s event, Leadership Through Engagement, was developed in partnership with Korn Ferry International and will focus on the latest issues, drivers and trends in human capital and corporate responsibility. International corporate executives, academics and other thought leaders will share their views on how values-based organizations succeed in recruiting top talent and the role that engaged employees play in building truly sustainable enterprises and, ultimately, social movements. The confluence of economic challenges, social inequities and environmental degradation is forcing organizations of all types to re-think how they create and market their products and how they manage their business. It is becoming ever more obvious that the most adaptable, innovative and successful enterprises are those that attract, motivate, engage and retain to the best employees. And this will only increase in importance in the future as issues evolve and grow. Tremblant Forum 09 will once again bring together local and international leaders in lively sessions moderated by respected international journalists. New this year, Tremblant Forum will host the 3rd annual L’Actualité/ Korn Ferry/NATIONAL Quebec Prize of Excellence in Corporate Citizenship. This event will feature a Finalists’ Cocktail Reception. |
